Blizzard's next MMO to be an MMOFPS

Blizzard's next MMO to be an MMOFPS

Yep, another MMO rumor for you guys about the Blizzard's next title. While Blizzard has been very adamant in saying that their next MMO would be very different from World of Warcraft, there might be more difference here than just the game's setting.

The French gaming site NoFrag is reporting that Blizzard's next game will include an FPS portion as well as a social portion, splitting the player between two systems. While the player will be able to meet people, chat, and make friends in the social area of the game, they will also be able to then launch into the FPS portion with their friends and battle over objectives.

Adding this to the widely spread rumor that this next game is going to be a sci-fi title and Kaplan's hints that the game might be hitting consoles? We have a feeling we might be looking at a cyberpunk setting here, if players are switching between two "modes" of play. The social play would be set in the real world while the FPS would be set in a virtual landscape. But, of course, that's just our best guess.

Thrall becomes the Gaurdian of trisfal

Why Thrall is Gaurdian:

The emerald nightmare was getting worser day by day, until the day the cataclysm began. Azhara and Deathwing has began summoning the Old god from the nightmare to world by creating a gateway with in the maelstrom.

With the Nightmare out of control and an old god about to be summoned Malfurion got desperate with in the nightmare and went back to the world in search of help. Malfurion found a group of people who fights the old gods and their minions exclusively, the new council of trisfal.

Realizing that they have no gaurdian and that them alone can't stop the old god from being summoned. Malfurion looked for a person who has great powers over the elements. Then he found Thrall, a wise leader and a powerful shaman. He tells Thrall that he's the worlds only hope and introduces him to the council.

The council shared there powers with Thrall and he becomes extremely powerful, having the ability to move waters or even open the sea to half. With Thrall on charge in Azeroth Malfurion comes back to the Nightmare to battle the horrors with in it once more.

1k Needles explanation:

Before the events of the cataclysm Thrall was abducted on his way to Theramore for a mission of peace. After being rescued by the goblins who escaped deathwing Thrall ensured that they will have a safe place with in the horde.

After the events which includes Malfurion, Thralls first action was to Take the water out of central Kalimdor so civilization could be built once more.

Thrall found a container for the extra water within the world, but to do it he needed the help of the goblins. He ordered the goblins of Gadgetzan to build a damn so the flood water can fill the thousand needles and parts of Feralas. After the dam was built Thrall moved the flood water successfully.

Areas that are also low will remain flooded due to the "left" overs of the big tidal wave, these areas are dustwallow marsh, swamps of sorrows and the wetlands.

The Expidition to the Great sea:

The new council of trisfal traveled to the great sea but deal with its afairs but they needed help of the alliance and the horde but only the strongest ones was chosen meaning they must prove there selves first in the old world.

With Thrall and his effors in the great sea, there wont be any battle grounds in the great sea. And you kinda dont really need siege engines under water.....

Cairne Bloodhoof vs garrosh

("Art" by Munchy)

After all this has happen there will be 1 more week until the cataclysm start and garrosh will build the new city in ashenvale to honor his father and cairne will try to stop him cause the night elves will get pissed.

And so Garrosh didnt listen, so Cairne went to the night elves to try and negotiate to attempt to let the orcs build a city. But he didnt reallized Garrosh and a band of horde warriors followed him and he gets marked "Traitor", the night elves fled believe it was a set up and Garrosh kills Cairne there.

With Cairnes "betrayal" being a mystery, Baine Bloodhoof will prolly be the Anti-Garrosh in the horde (on the way of saurfang).

Tensions between the orcs and the night elves got high due to cairnes death. Due to a couple of attacks agaisnt the new city Garrosh declared war back to the alliance.

The New (New) Horde:

With the "betrayal" of Cairne Bloodhoof, Garrosh has gotten under controversies and becoming less trusted by some members of the horde.

To help Garrosh lead the orcs and the horde Saurfang remained his Advisor and Drek'tar and frostwolf shamans re-united with the new (new) horde.

After the war in alterac valley, Vandar stompike was killed but the frostwolf village was also left in ruins. Now with flying in azeroth players can now fly to alterac valley to defend the grave of Durotan.

So no, no,no blizz wont ruin the horde like that of course they will put thrilling story lines like wotlk.

Vol'jin vs. Garrosh

("Art" by Munchy)

Is it true or false? who knows!
but I hope it's true because it's cool.

Garrosh Hellscream: Don't talk back to me, troll. You know who was left in charge here. Have you not stopped to ask yourself why Thrall chose me instead of you?

Vol'Jin: Dere's no question why, Garrosh. He gave ya the title because he needed ta see once and for all if ya could overcome the pride and bloodlust dat have long run in ya family. I t'ink he did not expect de answer to be apparent so soon.

Garrosh Hellscream: You're lucky I don't gut you right here, whelp. You are foolish to think you can speak to your Warchief in such ways.

Vol'Jin: You're no Warchief of mine. Ya've not earned my respect, and I'll not see the Horde destroyed by ya thirst for war.

Garrosh Hellscream: And what exactly do you think that you are going to do about it? Your threats are hollow. Go slink away with the rest of your kind to the slums; I will endure your filth in my throne room no longer.

Vol'Jin: I know exactly what I am going to do about it, son of Hellscream. I will watch and wait as ya people slowly become aware of ya ineptitude. I will laugh as dey grow to despise ya as I do.

Vol'Jin: And when da time comes dat ya failure is complete and ya "power" is meaningless, I will be dere to end ya rule swiftly and silently.

Vol'Jin: Ya will spend ya reign glancin' over ya shoulder and fearin' the shadows, for when da time comes and ya blood slowly drains out, ya will know exactly who fired da arrow dat pierced ya heart.

Garrosh Hellscream: You have sealed your fate, troll.

Garrosh spits at Vol'Jin.

Vol'Jin: And you yours, "Warchief."
